After reading more of this book i feel like it has a motif with the eyes. Stephenie Meyer has this way of describing eyes. When she describes the eyes of vampires its interesting how people who are not one of the Cullens, eyes are described differently. She doesn't just say Aro's eyes are red she says his eyes are a deep crimson and the irises are hard like candy. When Stephenie Meyer describes the Cullens eyes it's like you can picture it clearly. For example she says Edwards eyes are a tawny melted gold that smoldered Bellas' eyes, his pupils were dark small dots against the warm inviting gold.
One thing I always wonder is what if this is just one big dream that some girl had while in a concussion and she is actually some city kid who is like 11 years old. That would be a very interesting thing but i think that might loose the magical feel you have when your into the Twilight series. I think that Twilight got very popular one because it's a very good series and second because of the movie. I think people got more interested in it when the movie came out. The same thing happened with J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter.
I think that when you read a book and then see the movie it kinda ruins your experience reading it. When you read a book you create all these images in your mind. You picture what the characters look like and the settings and specific places look like . When your watching the movie for the book your watching the producers images of the book and the pictures he made in his mind. It kind of tears away all the images you made for yourself. That's why people are always saying the book is way better than the movie because they prefer the way they pictured it to the way the movie makers did. I like both the book and the movies for Twilight but the movies always cut out some parts or are less descriptive than the books.

I know what you mean with the way she describes eyes. In general when she described something a picture automatically popped into my head. I love love love that she is the type of writer that gives you visual image of the text
